First Landing is a sensual, luxurious experience. Album opener “Fortune Teller” sets the mood for bedroom grooves, and “Keep the Faith” gets hot and heavy. The title track warps around your brain like naked legs in silk sheets, and on and on toward delicious disco perfection.
There are no sleepy moments on this album. It showcases Moon Boots’ versatility while staying well centered around the bedroomy theme. It features tons of great vocal performances from King Kona, Nic Hanson, Antony & Cleopatra, Black Gatsby, Fiora, Janelle Kroll and Lulu James.
